Back in the office, we were preparing to dispatch several orders on a Tuesday, precisely two days after the homegrown street launch event. A close friend, initiating a new venture known as Havoc Entertainment, had organised an extravagant pop-up event at the Taj Lands End Hotel in Mumbai. This pop-up entailed a fusion of Nightlife and a dazzling supercar display, alongside the official unveiling of the D’yavol vodka brand. Recognizing the potential synergy, we proactively approached them, leveraging our longstanding relationship with the event planning team, and successfully secured our participation in this glamorous night. Remarkably, we became the exclusive clothing brand affiliated with the inaugural and largest edition of this sensational pop-up.
With a mere four days at our disposal, we embraced the challenge with determination, strategizing for branding, executing production plans, and initiating the invitation process for our people. Our team was operating on a race against time once again, determined to make this endeavor an unparalleled success.
The outcomes surpassed even our most ambitious expectations, as over 1200 enthusiastic attendees graced the event. Their keen engagement with our brand was both thrilling and inspiring, with a remarkable 50+ pieces sold at the party. The vibey atmosphere, combined with really good music, resulted in a few customers forgetting their orders, maybe because they drank too much :p. Nonetheless, we promptly ensured their orders were swiftly dispatched the very next day! Some dude even bought a used shirt off one of our founders because that was his size and he wanted that piece by any means!!
The event's triumph can be attributed to the collective efforts and support of several individuals who played pivotal roles. Our heartfelt gratitude extends to Naman Shah, Srikar Shetty, Priyank Sharma and the main man Robin Roy for granting us the privilege of being an integral part of the event.
